What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of energy work, with its origins in India and the East, dating back to the time before Christ and Buddha. The origins of Reiki were lost; however, we do know that it was rediscovered by a Japanese monk named Dr. Mikao Usui. He named this energy healing system Reiki, which means Universal Life Force.
How Does Reiki Work?
Reiki is holistic; it works on the body, mind and spirit by stimulating a person's own natural healing abilities. Divine in origin, it allows us to become one with our world. Reiki is pure unconditional love and joy, bringing all who experience and embrace it together in harmony. Please join us as we attempt to heal ourselves, our community and our world by sharing the Miracle of Reiki.
Where Does the Reiki Energy Come From?
There is an energy that gives life to every living organism. For many thousands of years we have known of this energy and have sought to develop ways to harness its power to heal and influence our lives. The Japanese call this energy Ki. It is also known as Chi by the Chinese, Prana in Yoga and the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost by most of the Western World. This energy is pure and good, and can only be used for the highest good of all concerned.
Our Reiki Master Teacher
Rev. Dr. Tracy Cox received her Reiki attunements many years ago after she began teaching guided meditation and yoga at the world renowned King Ranch Health Spa. As she offered Reiki to her clients, she was drawn to become an Ordained Minister and Spiritual Wellness Expert in her community of Aurora, Ontario. Tracy is a Reiki Master Teacher as well as a Certified Metaphysical Practitioner with the International Metaphysical Ministry University Seminary and University of Sedona. She is registered clergy with the government of Ontario, and able to offer weddings, funerals, as well as all other spiritual services.

Proven Effective
In the research for Tracy's Doctoral Dissertation, so many scientific studies showed that Reiki, Meditation and Prayer all work to change conditions for the better. As scientists work to be able to measure this life force energy, mankind will continue to learn how to work with this healing energy for the betterment of all beings.
